The Brisbane Lions NEAFL team has named 14 listed players for tomorrow's NEAFL practice match against Redland at South Pine Sports Complex.

This will be the first hit-out for many of the Brisbane Lions players, and will be the first opportunity fans will have to check out some of the Lions' newest recruits.

Archie Smith will make his way back to Brisbane after playing in last night's 8-point win against the Western Bulldogs. Looking to get more game time under his belt, Smith will share ruck duties with Lions Rookie Oscar McInerney who was picked up at the end of 2016.

Matt Eagles will play his first game for the Club after winning Fox show 'The Recruit' and being drafted to the Brisbane Lions.

Rookie midfielder Blake Grewar, a former Redland Best & Fairest player, will play his first game against his old Club. While, after an injury interupted pre-season, Lions swingman Dan McStay will play his first game of 2017.

This game will also be an opportunity for fans to check out some of this year's most talented prospects, with Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy players Jack Clayton and Connor Ballenden both being named to wear the maroon, blue and gold.
